Kimberly Cruise M.S., LMHC, BCaBA, NCC

Clinical Director

Kimberly is experienced in treating children and adults with dual diagnoses including mental health issues and developmental disabilities. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor, she is also Board Certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board and is registered as a Qualified Supervisor by the clinical licensing board of Florida. Kimberly uses a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Approach with great success with individuals manifesting even the most difficult behaviors.

Anna Farrin MSW, LCSW - Registered Play Therapist

Play Therapy and Filial Therapy

Anna is able to address and resolve trauma issues in children as young as 3 years old through her expertise as a Play Therapist. In addition, she offers parents and caregivers the training they need to engage in therapeutic play with their own children through Fililal Therapy.

Lori Pinkerd M.S., LMHC - Registered Play Therapist

Play Therapy and Mental Health Counseling

Lori has a great deal of experience working with young children and adolescents alike. Through a dynamic Play Therapy approach, she is able to assist her clients process their emotions and feelings regarding the world around them.

Cheryl Alvarado MSW, LCSW, RHT

Clinical Hypnotherapy and EMDR

As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Cheryl assists clients suffering from a multitude of issues including those exhibiting symptoms related to PTSD. Cheryl utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprossing techniques to identify and overcome past traumas.

Sarah Smith M.S., LMHC

Mental Health Counseling

Sarah has a great deal of experience working with children displaying anger and aggression issues, and has a wealth of experience navigating the Dependency and DJJ Court systems. Sarah specializes in working with couples, families, and teenage/adolescent girls.

Travis Nolan MSW, LCSW

Travis is experienced in working with school aged children as well as adults, as he brings experience working in crisis units and working for the school system. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address where the thoughts and beliefs come from that frame our view of our system. He also uses Solution Focused techniques to counteract the difficulties we experience in a variety of our social relationships.

Amy Eldred B.A.

Services Director

Not only does Amy ensure the smooth operations of First Coast Behavior on a daily basis, she facilitates the communication and consistency of care provided by the clinicians assigned to a client's care. In the true spirit of the MDIM embraced by FCBS, all services must collaborate in a seamless fashion. Amy has a wealth of experience in the Dependency system and is able to assist Case Managers and Caregivers alike in the coordination of referrals for service. In addition, Amy acts as the Director of our Academic Tutoring and Respite Services.

Amanda Starr B.S., CPT, RBT

Director - Active Parenting and Education

Our Parent Education team specializes in providing innovative programming to parents and families including court approved, research-based Active Parent Training, Family Nurturing Classes, Supervised Therapeutic Visitation, and Therapeutic Sibling Visitation. Amanda is also a Registered Behavior Technician.


Director of Morale and Happiness

Penny is an adorable miniature Dachshund mix, and is without a doubt the most popular member of our staff. Upon request, Penny can join any of our clinicians as part of your therapeutic team. You may see Penny around the office just about any time... if you would rather not have her in the office when you are here, please feel free to let us know and we will gladly give her the afternoon off.
